1½ hour trip - visiting the Ascrib Islands

We depart Uig and head to the Ascrib Islands in the beautiful Sea Loch Snizort where the seals sunbathe on the craggy rocks and play in the water around our RIB.  The Ascrib Island archipelago is stretched along the east coast of Skye's Waternish Peninsula in a chain of five islands and several reefs. The Ascrib Islands are designated as Special Area of Conservation (SAC) by the European Commission.

From there we head along the Waternish Peninsula to see the waterfall cascading into the sea and have a chance to see the pair of sea eagles which nest on the coast.

We have regular sightings of Sea Eagles along the Waternish Peninsular!
