how to find us

By Car:

Woodbine Guest House is located 300yds up the A855 just off the A87. You will see our sign on the right hand side of the road and the car park is immediately after it.

By Train:

If you intend to travel to Skye by train - ScotRail, then the nearest stations are either in Mallaig (via Fort William), or the Kyle of Lochalsh (via Inverness). Both journeys offer some spectacular scenery along the way.

By Bus:

The Scottish CityLink coach service runs from several locations throughout Scotland, and will bring you right to the Uig Ferry terminal.

Woodbine is a charming, award winning guest house located in the village of Uig on the beautiful Trotternish peninsula of the Isle of Skye.

Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Woodbine House and Skye, and take advantage of it’s location to go sightseeing or explore the Outer Hebrides.

Our location enjoys an elevated position, peacefully overlooking the waters of Uig Bay, and affords superb views in the magnificent scenery that surrounds us.

The building is well over 100 years old, and is the longest running Guest House in Uig. We are a very short distance from the Uig Ferry Terminal, from where the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry service to the Outer Hebrides is run on a daily basis. This makes us an ideal stop in preparation for an onward journey to Lochmaddy on North Uist or Tarbert on Harris.
