Woodbine House is a charming, traditional stone croft house in the village of Uig, located on Skye's stunning Trotternish peninsular.  We offer bed and breakfast, self catering, boat trips including whale watching, mountain bike hire and more!

With five comfortable ensuite bedrooms (three double rooms, a twin room and a family room) it is the perfect place spend time with your family or friends.  All our rooms also have televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a lounge with a log fire for our guests to relax.

Uig is a great base from which to explore Skye.  There are lovely walks around the village taking in waterfalls, woodlands and cliff-tops.  On the practical side of things we have good restaurants, a lively bar, shops, a petrol station and a good bus service.  The ferry in Uig runs to the Outer Hebrides which can be a great day trip as part of your Skye holiday or the next hop in your tour of Scotland.  Uig hosts lots of wildlife including buzzards, herons and a resident sea otter and seal.

On the Trotternish peninsula we have the spectacular rock formations of the Quiraing, the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock and the Trotternish ridge.  There are plenty of historic structures including castles, forts and standing stones.  There is a beautiful beach with dinosaur footprints.

At Woodbine House, we also run fantastic boat trips around the north of Skye.  These are fun, exhilarating trips set in stunning scenery with abundant wildlife including puffins, seals and minke whales.
